Meet the Team

Linh An, PhD

Executive Director

Linh is a first-generation immigrant, first-generation college graduate with a long history of working with underserved AAPI students in NYC. Linh currently teaches Asian American Studies at Hunter College and serves as the Multilingual Learner Specialist at the Hunter College AANAPISI Project. She initially joined CAFAMH as part of her dissertation research on Chinese immigrant women caring for family members diagnosed with mental illness. As part of CAFAMH, she is leading the development of a psychoeducation program in partnership with NYU for LEP Chinese caregivers. Linh received her bachelors degree from Queens College and her PhD in Anthropology from UCLA. In her free time, you might find her watching cleaning videos on YouTube.

Lucky is a shih-poo who will steal your socks and slippers.

Jennifer Wu

Senior Director, Collected

Jennifer joined CAFAMH in 2018 with an interest in how the Asian American community can support each other through mental health challenges. She currently leads the development of all Collected programming and oversees strategic initiatives at CAFAMH. She has extensive professional experience working in the healthcare industry, including health tech startups, healthcare strategy consulting, and pharmaceutical issues & crisis management. Jennifer graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Psychology and certificate in Neuroscience. She enjoys cross country skiing and hopes to one day be an instructor.

Denny is a corgi who loves to sleep on human beds and bark inappropriately at other dogs.

April Chong

Digital Media & Design Specialist

April is a visual artist and graphic designer born and raised in Queens. She holds a BFA in Studio Arts from Queens College, and a BA in Sociology from Hunter College. Primarily working in clay, she is interested in its therapeutic, tactile nature and passionate about making art more inclusive and accessible. She is grateful to be a part of Collected and its initiatives. 

 

Forest is a long-haired chihuahua who loves enforcing his house initiation: anyone entering and leaving will be barked at and nipped, unless he gets a treat.
